(edit title) Troll blocking feature (if possible) Options

I have noticed that there are some extremely obnoxious trolls who post on many threads with aggressive, irrelevant & insulting replies.

Of course, its their freedom of speech to do so, as long as they dont abuse or threaten others.

What The Local can do, is to introduce a blocking feature, so that we as discerning forum users can block out these trolls ONLY on OUR view - either on a user basis or individual posts - if thats possible to implement.

This will facilitate much cleaner reading & interaction on these forums, I can think of at least 5 users whom I would block right away if the forum had this feature.

There is a block list feature on your profile, I have never used it but it is there...if you really want to block someone...

Thanks, just found it! Its not very intuitively placed, I would have expected it be able to click on a user's name and add to the blocked list. But should do the trick for now.

Mommy, there's a troll on the forum, it's so annoying, it's so obnoxious, I need to block it, I need a clean forum where I can keep up high-quality discussions about cure for AIDS, NASA experiments and Pluto's unusual orbit, because my life outside this forum makes no sense! I spend my whole time on this forum and it has to be kept in order.

Yes, the lack of sterility and controls on this forum are indeed contrary to everything Sweden stands for.

We just can't have people saying things we don't agree with, why, that would be completely undemocratic.
