Hello,
I met a Swedish man 5 years ago and I married him. We have children together, very young. We live abroad in a country that is neither of ours and have lived there for the duration of our marriage and our children's lives. My husband without consulting me took the children and went home while I was on a business trip (being the only one working) and refused all contact with me and will not let me talk to them, see them or anything of the sort. I was told not to pursue court in Sweden because the side with their own citizens. The children are both Swedish by nationality. We have joint custody. I have been living through hell. Every day is a struggle to live. I don't know what to do Background is irrelevant (as in what happened between me and him but he did go to all my friends and try to blacken my name but my friends who have been my friends for 5 years did not believe him). The children are and were always loved by both parents. I come from a country where women's rights are practically non-existent. Is there any help I can get to finance this fight and get my children back? Do I have a chance? Will the courts be against me simply because I am an outsider? I have their wrapped birthday and Christmas presents and his too... |

Quite a story. The only advice that I can give you is to seek a lawyer in Sweden. You will have to pay for it on your own I am afraid.
Good luck. |
