I think India has to import foreign workers to show her how to manage and create businesses that would stop this dramatic and eventually crippling "Brain Drain" of her intellectual resources, leaving for other countries...

It seems the Indian mentality can only produce "cutting edge" workers and is not capable of creating entrepreneurs...

It seems to be a classic case of too many Indians and not enough Chiefs!!!

If you look at the recent forbes 20 richest families you'll see several Indian family business empires that are growing year on year. With their population growth they will be a global force to be reckoned with. They are starting business, taking over western ones etc etc. With their vast population a few thousand moving to sweden doesn't really have an impact on their internal economics. Plus much of the money flows back there anyway.

Ahh, how we love economic colonialism. And the indians who keep on saying how they hate colonialism. Isn't it also odd that the indian workfoce is superior and loves work migration yet they have to be protected by the strictest laws in the world regarding work migration?

Absolutely true, we havent been able to create world class products and services out of India, but we are great workers, leaders & entrepreneurs when in other companies or countries. China is far better at this.

That is why migration OUT of India must be encouraged even more, we just cannot sustain so many educated people, the rest of the world need us more.

Eventually, it benefits India too as many returning Indians invest and improve work ethics in India too. Cycle of migration is good for the world at large.

So you basically can't answer simple questions, you are only capable of hyping India and Indians.

I never said Indian software pros are always superior to those from other countries - but we have them in sufficient quantity to fill positions at most levels globally - that is an advantage.

That is why all major software companies are filled with Indians at all levels and even Sweden is looking to attract Indian techies in more numbers. This is a win-win both for India and Sweden.

Obviously, I am also not the most superior consultant in my current company either, else I would have been made a partner. But maybe in a couple of years, touch wood smile.gif

So by this logic presented in your words, are Muslims superior to the Swedish?

Also by your logic, and if what nativeswede is true about Indians having a larger presence in Swedish tech industry than swedes, like his poor self, then the Indians are superior...

By your logic.

Yes, there is an overabundance of indians claiming that they know programming, that is correct. The reason major software companies are filled with indians is that the second an indian makes it to a position where he has any hiring influence, then he only hires other indians.
