I do not believe in the global warming panic...
It seems Denmark talks the good fight but her actions leave a bit to be desired... THIRTY YEARS from now they will stop extracting oil from the sea bed!!! I mean...why wait so long if this is the emergency situation the politicians are promoting to get elected... https://apnews.com/article/europe-climate-c...88a74ebdc5d5d6f |

Plus it's PR, they'll time the end to correlate when most countries want to end diesel and petrol cars. The market will have disappeared anyway. |

Oh right and what market will power Trucking, trains, aircraft ? Trains have been electric for a while, that's what those wires hanging over the tracks are for. You'll notice in my comment I said diesel and petrol cars. That wasn't a coincidence, I deliberately didn't say all vehicles. Shipping and heavy plant will take longer as battery technology improves. There are already some electric vans, short hop ferries, tractors and aircraft. The petrol car took decades to advance from the Model T to where we are now, just as EVs will progress to. |

"I think you were just born in the wrong era, it's like having a
conversation with my 70+ yr old petrol head mass polluting dad." Nice way to describe your father... Probably he is thinking he made a mistake years ago and it's coming back to haunt him...think about it... |

Well as the saying goes, be nice to your kids, they'll pick your care home! Nothing wrong with the guy, he's just living in denial so he can justify having a relatively sporty car, whilst living in a country full of speed cameras and sitting on a licence full of points. Each to their own. |
