Am in England until Christmas so making the most of it we will have sausage plait tonight. I bought a Delia cookbook today purely because it had a sausagemeat recipe in it and it's the thing I miss the most when in Sweden!

Have just been informed I'm eating alone as all three children have other plans. They're 6/9/14 fgs! Looks like sausageplait will be tomorrow instead. I shall console myself with X factor, whisky and fish and chips.

Happy birthday to Mrs. Fox and, yes to Rick, we have lots of turkey left over. 18 pounder, home raised and go-o-o-o-d. However, the weather is so nice here that I may take a break from the turkey and grill out tonight. 40 F ( 4.4444 C) and sunny. Lots better than last year at this time.

We had my home made spicy veggie soup today quick and easy as I made loads lsr week, so just need reheating from the freezer. Wondering what to have for Sunday when son, partner and barnbarn come around. My son is able to eat a horse it it was put on a plate in front of him. The granddaughter wants either pasta or pancakes.
