I am about to apply for the work permit extension (same employer, same position). Migrationsverket says that we need to add the union opinion to the application, however, many unions do not provide it to the companies without collective agreements (and my employer does not have one, unfortunately). The union that provided an opinion 2 years ago, rejected to help this time.
Has anyone applied for an extension without the union's opinion? It's said there is an option to evaluate the offer of employment via the MV site but my concern is that the opinion might be negative (eg if the salary is lower than the average in their database) what will result in the WP rejection.
Any experience with that? Does MV take the union's opinion into account at all when revising the extension cases?
