Greetings,
Folks waiting for sambo visas have created spreadsheet, where they share their waiting times. Let us do the same for those, who are waiting for work permit or its extensions. Here is the spreadsheet: https://goo.gl/0GhIFk. I would very much appreciate if you have shared the following info: -- Application date -- Was it work permit or extension -- Your nationality (optional) -- Decision received date or none -- Any comments you would like to add Hopefully it will give us an idea about the real waiting time. Thank you. |

Can you please add this to the spreadsheet, or open it up for collaboration so I can add? Thanks!

Apparently it's readonly . New. Applied March 12th 2015, . Decision made March 26th 2015. Exactly 2 weeks Thank you, but I will skip yours, since you've applied before the crisis, when waiting times were small. The idea to see what is happening right now and find out what is the real average waiting time, so people can at least approximately plan their lives. Thank you anyway. |

Speaking as the person who created the sambo spreadsheet ( ), you might not want to exclude anyone. If you truly intend to make this document as usable as possible, the larger the sample size the better. Plus, assuming the waiting times are going to continue to get worse for work permit applicants, or if people want to try to understand why some permits go so much faster than others, having back data to calculate trends can be really interesting. Just a thought Also, two thoughts about collaboration: I chose to lock people out of my file so it couldn't be accidentally messed up, and so that no one could take the data I had compiled and use it without my knowing. I think this is the best way to help ensure data accuracy and people's privacy. But also, it will become a full time job. Thank god I work in finance so it isn't weird for people to see me working on a spreadsheet all day long ;D |

IMO, I don't think the bolded part was necessary. Its a bit offensive, unless I am reading with too much sensitivity? The guy is well known flooder over here: made silly application with no legal grounds, and is complaining in every single topic how stupid and unprofessional people working at MV are for almost a year now. I do not want this rubbish here. |

Another to add to the spreadsheet, which seems consistent with other data.
My friend Emily applied from the US on April 17, 2015 for a new application and received her decision on May 24. About 5 weeks for that one! |

Found official statistics with number of work permits issued in 2013-2015: http://www.migrationsverket.se/Om-Migratio...sgrupperna.html
It turns out, MV has granted roughly the same number of work permits during the September-December of 2015 as during the same period of 2014. |
