Perhaps as a show of solidarity for the protest those of us in Stockholm can take Bob out for a couple beers.. Of course I will post from my iPhone though. Drunk.

Sounds like a brilliant idea... Anyone else up for one? smile.gif Will start a separate 'celebrate the boycotting of the Local boycott' thread tomorrow, once I've sobered up enough to be trusted with a keyboard!!! tongue.gif

Is there a reason you all wanna boycott? Have the people in charge of the new Local forums done something to piss you all off? Sorry I've been away a while so I haven't kept up with the news here. Please fill me in.

Maybe you should reread the thread. Only one person (the OP) says he wants to boycott, everyone else plans on posting a lot that day.

Oh no, we're not pissed off about anything. In fact we all believe that PK has every right to boycott the site. We're all very supportive of his boycott and encourage him to keep boycotting it until his demands are met. Got it? smile.gif

Because of daylight saving time, Swedish time is GMT+2 right now.

Thats 17:00 uk time by the way - uncle Bob must be so looking forward to this - the site often gets slower to access evening times. Perhaps he will graft in a super server for the occasion laugh.gif Or will there be a mega crash ?

Wait a minute.

Isn't UK time always GMT (Greenwich Mean Time)? How does that work?
Because it is at 17:00 +1 (18:00) ...

Can someone explain?

GMT is the "base" time and never changes. No pun intended.
Also known as Zulu time I believe.
So London at the moment is actually GMT +1 due to daylight savings time and Stockholm GMT +2
