Hi I wonder what are the ways to report, complain about a bad landlord and warn others (besides the police)? The landlord harasses, abuses and even blackmail tenants. The landlord rents in a public housing apartment and then sublet.

Ring the police and contact the owners. Unfortunately you will probably end up homeless by doing this but he will also lose the property Yes, contact the owners/organization that owns the building. Depending on what is stolen... call the police. How can they be subletting their rented apartment while still in the area? I assume they are in area if stealing from you, op, and harassing you. There are strict rules for legally subletting a first hand contract in Sweden. I agree with fox that you will most likely lose your place since the place should be taken away from the one subletting to you... maybe if you talk to owners of building and explain the situation you could potentially take over the first hand rental agreement... you probably pay more than market price for sublet so see if you can sweeten the deal by continuing to pay what you do now. Good luck. Come back and tell what happens... |

Hi what can the owner do about it, only that the landloard can't sublet his first hand contract? What else? I already moved out because the due date has come. How to find out the owner and contact info? |
