We posted ads for translation and proof reading/editing work a few days ago and have ended up needing to turn down work due to lack of time. Is there anyone who could help us out if this situation arises again?

Anyway, depends what type of translating.

Editing/proof reading I would willingly lend a hand to.

Is it proof-reading english text? If it is, I'd be very interested but I'm not in Stockholm until 31 March.

Add me to the list of people who earn their crust from various bits of copy writing/proof reading/editing type gubbins. Would willingly have a crack at translation too these days, since I can now read entire whole novels without resorting to a dictionary.

I've done that kind of thing too... Swedish, English and a bit of German... At the moment I'm on sick-leave though so my ability to work varies from day to day. Feel free to contact me if the need arises, though! I love translation/editing and proof-reading!

VHW

Please tell us in which state of mind you are usually proofreading: 1. Drunk
2. With a heavy hangover
3. Stoned
4. Half sober
5. Sober, but with a can of beer on the table
