quotes from http://www.thelocal.se/20160323/watch-how-...udents-question
"I honestly think that Sweden might one day become the new America. Because it has been so accepting of many cultures and people" Bahahahahahaahaaaaa!! Too funny if it wasn't so sad and mis-informed! Obviously haven't yet observed the non-existent breadth such diversity is given in Sweden!! Sweden is mono-culture no matter how many people they bring in from wherever! "And no, I am not worried about xenophobia and I know that we as immigrants have a lot to offer and that the Swedes will acknowledge that soon." Bahahahahahaahaaaaa!! You might have much to offer, but don't expect any Swede acknowledge that (or to have the ability to comprehend it)!! Let's not forget the steadfast Swedish tradition of absolute nepotism, "saviour of the incompetent"! Looking forward to what you think about mighty Sweden 8 years from now!! You have a lot to learn about Sweden (you know, the real version, not the magical PR non-sense version)! Good luck poor na?ve Yara! |

Yes, the "new America" phrase is a bit misinformed. America has it's own racial struggles due mainly to professional racists like Jesse Jackson who love to spew out venom that only makes the racial divide even wider and, of course, justifies their position of power.
The statement that alludes that immigrants have a lot to offer also has me scratching my head as most of the arriving refugees are unemployable for an average of 7 years. Finally, there is this notion that western civilization is prejudiced against Muslims. Just look at what is going on currently in Brussels and then ask yourself why this is so. I am sorry, but from what I can see, Islam is far from being the "religion of peace" that it claims to be. |

It seems to me that it would be appropriate for it to be known as the religion of Christian pieces!!!

Trust me, you don't want to become the "new America".
America is such a wonderful place, just look at the current politicians running for President! And the governor of California, who's wasting billions of dollars on a bullet train that hasn't gotten anywhere. And the Coastal Commission and the environmentalist groups that are preventing Cali from replacing highway 101 that's falling into the ocean that costs the are a million dollars a DAY that the road's closed, because the native Americans cry that trees need to be downed to make room. Where blacks kill blacks and no one cares, blacks kill whites and no one cares, but as soon as a white kills a black, all hell breaks loose. Where during the LA riots we had "roof Koreans" protecting their shops, only to be thanked by more gun bans. Where in California whites are now officially a minority, because Governor Brown just threw his arms open to the illegal Mexicans. Ugh. You don't want to become America. Ever. |

And that's just a bit of it from a white perspective, and only from the West Coast.
I'm out of this lunatic asylum myself, perhaps back to Sweden with hopes that I don't bring much of America with me. |

There are still many areas in America that function as they should. Places where people get along, follow the laws, work for their living and help others in need. Places where the liberal loonies have not left their mark,

Oh, do tell us where that is in the USA so we all can move there, especially since I have all the symptoms and more, according to the Daily Mail, of an early death!

Yep. I'm actually planning on moving to Sweden, in the hopes that it's as boring as everyone complains about here on these forums. Oh, do tell us where that is in the USA so we all can move there, especially since I have all the symptoms and more, according to the Daily Mail, of an early death! ![]() There's a few areas back in the boonies. Wyoming and Montana are pretty nice, as are the Dakotas and Minnesota if you can handle the weather. Then again, Minnesota is where all the Scandinavians went when they immigrated here. Hearing my mother(who grew up in Wisconsin and Minnesota) talk is hilarious. The regional accent is vaguely Scandinavian and she never lost it when the family moved to Pennsylvania. |
