Hello,
I've been wanting to visit London before but it's even more urgent now. I'm of Syrian citizenship, though I've been in Sweden for 2 years and I do have a Swedish Travel Document (resedokument) which looks like that http://www.swedenabroad.com/ImageVaultFile...f_16/Pass15.jpg I'm wondering, is this document enough for me to visit London for a couple days or do I still need to apply for a visa? Thank you in advance. Wael. |

You should check with someone more qualified than thelocal forums.
The image you gave is of a Swedish Passport - does this mean you have been accepted for Swedish citizenship ? |

Does your "resedokument" really looks like that? Does it really say "pass"? Because that looks like a passport, that you would have if you're a Swedish citizen. Doesn't your say "Resedokument" and look more like this:
http://www.consilium.europa.eu/prado/en/66...age-182937.html This is from Migrationsverket's web page: "The travel document meets the EU's passport requirements and can be used for travel to all countries. But if you are a refugee in accordance with the 1951 Geneva Convention, your passport will specify that you are not permitted to travel to your home country or the country you have fled from. If you were unable to prove your identity, your travel document will state that your identity is unproven, which could make it more difficult to travel to certain countries. You may need a visa to travel to some countries. Please contact the appropriate country's embassy to obtain more information before you travel." http://www.migrationsverket.se/English/Pri...l-document.html If I were you then I would ask here if I would need a visa or not to go to the UK: https://ukvi-international.faq-help.com/ |

Your travel document is acceptable in the United Kingdom:

You need to apply for visa and it is high likely to be rejected if you have no job in Sweden to ensure you will be back. It was possible before 2003 but UK has cancelled the agreement to allow travel document holders. Check this link: http://www.coe.int/en/web/conventions/full.../031/signatures |
