Hi Forum,
my wife (non-EU citizen) and I (Swedish citizen) are planning to apply for a sambo visa for her. We're a bit confused about whether she could keep her current job. She's currently working for a company in another EU country, and the company does not have an office in Sweden. Would she be allowed to continue working for that company from Sweden (and obviously pay taxes in Sweden) under the sambo visa rules? Cheers, cebro |

Exactly; her job can be done 100% remotely (minus some travelling). The question we couldn't really answer from the Migrationsverket website is whether that's compatible with a sambo visa. |

Isn't the fact that if it is your wife it's not your Sambo? Wouldn't the rules be different, or have Swedes watered down a marriage so much that they equate it to shacking up?
Just curious... |
