Since watching American news it amazes me that she has been able to get air time on TV with her views, not only is she racist, bigoted and rude...BUT she is a complete pain in the ring! AND WITH ALL THAT SHE HAS SAID RECENTLY, she's FU-C-KED! my mothers old saying comes to mind, give enough rope!

It doesn't appear from your posts are you aren't familiar with Coulter.
She certainly is an incredible pain in leftists agenda. Mainly so, because leftists have no one close to her intellectually that disagree with her (the left works with emotions not intellect). While her biting sarcasm is not everyone's cup of tea, she does it deftly and with surgical precision. So be angry, outraged and prattle on with hate. Emotions is the domain of her destractors. But she works on an high intellectual plain, and expect to be frustrated :twisted: . Does anyone need more evidence than the following post? Accusations, name calling, advocation of violence, but no intellectual arguements, no logic, and no evidence. |

There is not a politically correct cell in her incredibly skinny body, and she fine tunes her speeches to deliberately rile people up, even her supporters. Sells more books that way! |

The main problem I have with American politics is that it is all a bit playground, and both sides seem to see in black and white all the time. When you have people like Ann Coulter held up as pinnacles of intellectual debate, or books called things like "Lies and the Lying Liars Who Tell Them," it does make you wonder whether there's anyone capable of serious political discussion in mainstream US media.
The UK starts heading that way at election times but thankfully hasn't quite descended that far yet. |

I don't think Ann Coulter is held up as a pinnacle of intellectual debate.
She's more like a train wreck... can't...look...away. WRT anyone being capable serious political discussion within the US media, I'm sure that there are plenty of capable people (some who are on TV already), but that probably wouldn't pay the bills so they have to "play" the role of neocon or commie-pinko in order to grab viewers. All IMHO, of course. |
