Hi all -
I was wondering if anyone on this forum has any recommendations for a Sweden/UK tax expert that could help me with my situation:
-We are a UK/Swedish family, looking to move from the UK to Sweden this summer.
-I am on UK payroll, and would like that to continue as is. Given the current Covid-19 situation, my job has become 90% remote work. I would then commute back to UK for 10% of the time when that becomes acceptable to do.
-My wife would move to Swedish payroll with her company when she returns from mat leave.
Any suggestions on an expert I could speak with, and someone who could help with tax filings once we move, would be very helfpul! Thank you.
The good news is that you can do that.
The bad news is that it will be far more costly than your current arrangements and unless you are some kind of key employee, your employer probably won't be interested in doing it. Since your wife appears to be Swedish, get her to look at this to see how it works.
Any other arrangement is illegal.
