Getting an Australian girl is easier than Swedish girl. Why? |

I wonder all the time. For foreigners getting an australian girl friend has been always easier , but not swedish girl friend. Is the difference because of Language?
I don't think so. But, swedes also understand and speak english. My friend told it is because Aussie girls are naughty. That could be a good reason. |

Well as a NZ girl i can tell you that in the 8 years i lived in London i have lived with and met many Ozzie girls... for the most part they are warm and outgoing, funny and chilled out, laugh a lot... generally great!
generalising here... but Ozzies, as a culture, tend to be be welcoming and generous, also hospitable...I mean every one's welcome to share a beer or two round the BBQ! whereas (again generalising), from reading a lot of peoples posts, Swedish tend to be a bit more reserved and shy? So maybe its easier to have a conversation and a friendship with an ozzie, especially those who are travelling here in europe as they are here to see everything and have a great experience. |

This is a good example. But, even people who did not speak proper english also had Aussie Girl friends. I don't know why.

actually they can choose as they usually have many men falling at their feet especially in london...
Even in oz, there is a lot of choice... but I can also say from personal experience that european men love the antipodeans... Ozzies are fun to be around and who doesnt want to be around someone positive? |

Really? I had an italian boyfriend for 4 1/2 years.. all his friends in london avoided italian women like the plague... had a lot of spanish and french friends as well..there was so much pressure from women of their own culture for the proper "courtship" and serious relationship.
I am only speaking from london experience where we would be hit on from European men non stop every time we were out... always! And not just one or two but sometimes up to about 12+ for each of us in a night... I think european men find the laughter, spontaneity and outgoing personalities a huge turn on... We go out and have a good time... and that attracts men.. women who smile and enjoy life. By the way I am not stunningly beuatiful (some of my friends were!!!) and i still got hit on all the time... As for outside of london... who knows... i am now settled and loving every second with my lovely swedish man who treats me like a princess. The swedish women missed out on a first class love with my man! |

Me and my Swedish friends were hit on a lot in London as well. It's always more interesting to find a woman/man from somewhere else.
I have also met men who think that trying a woman from each country is fun. It's not very cool though, quite sad. |

Maybe some "novelty" value too - Aussies in Europe or the UK for a relatively short time are there to make the most of their time and probably fill a lot of the stereotypes that Roch mentions.
Flip side though, I'm sure that many of the Swedish girls who go backpacking through Aus and NZ don't have much trouble finding company either... |
