People trying to sell stuff in Helsinki

Who would pay these rip-off prices?

I was in Kamppi shopping centre in Helsinki yesterday, and there were these two men at a stall desperately trying to stop passersby. I let one stop me and he told me he was from Israel and then asked if he could remove the nail varnish from one of my fingers. I said yes, he did so. He then pointed at the ridges on my nail and said it was caused by wearing nail varnish all the time (which is nonsense since that was the first time I had worn it in ages). He then buffed my nail, and rubbed some cream in. The nail obviously then shone, as you would expect. He went on about how if I just buffed I wouldn't need to use nail varnish. He showed me the packets they were trying to sell, each packet had a nail buffer (which you can buy in any chemist for about one euro) and some cream (probably could get that for a couple of euros.) He told me he'd come all the way from Isael to sell this stuff. Guess how much they were charging for each packet? 35 euros! wtf? Who on earth would actually pay that? I said I didn't have any money and suddenly he stopped sucking up and wasn't friendly at all any more. He practically begged me to come and buy some another time. Who on earth would pay 35 euros for that?
