Are there any consulting companies in Stockholm that pay IT consultants more than 60% (80% if the consultant has to pay the pre-employment payroll tax) of what the client pays?

If not, are there any consulting companies in Stockholm for IT workers where the consultant can be a part owner of the company and share in the profits, without someone at the top taking all of the extra money?

80% sounds more like you are going via a Broker for contracts as self employed, not exactly via a consulting company. There are some where the actual % cut is limited after a period of time (for the same consultant if the contract is continually extended) by their customer contracts. Then you might find yourself either squeeze an increase from the Broker.

60%, sounds more like you are an employee. The additional 20% cut is mainly for their overheads, and employee costs, insurance etc.

There are indeed a few real Consulting companies who treat their consultants as associates/partners (depends how good you are at negotiating) where depending upon your utilization % will pay an annual bonus based upon revenue and utilization %.
Hunt and negotiate!

All depends on your negotiation skills if you are able to cut the middle man and research well on there are good chances you can close on something similar to 80%

I used to work on such a contract in Sweden in 2010, where I had a base utilization of 70% and anything above that was paid as percentage of consulting revenue above that level.

So if I was at 110% utilization, then I got 60% of revenue billed after 100%. But yes, highest tax rate was a bit of a killjoy, but that is how it is in Sweden.
