It was a horrible act and i hope that he ends up in prison for a very long time but to say that Swedes are not welcome to Bulgaria is stupid. How about if you take back all the beggars from your country that are sitting outside our shops?

Don't come to TheLocal with your racist comments. One Swede doesn't represent the 10 million others, just like one Bulgarian racist doesn't reperesent the whole of Bulgaria. Have a nice life in your cave.

I've been warning about such things in years, and similar accidents are going to get more common. Unfortunately 90% of my country are in fact dumb racists who think refugees are a problem while white English, Swedes, Germans are "god's gift to mankind". Just google "Sweden the country where racism is just a joke" - from a well known English newspaper to get the idea. Anyway... /thread, don't want to turn this into endless debate. |

@nar_el_alsha There are racists all over the world, including Sweden. And remember racism works both ways. White can be victims of racism from black people etc. It's not exclusive to minorities!
I've been to Bulgaria and had a very nice time. It was 1 month before Bulgarians were able to freely move within the EU without restrictions. Like a lot of the former Eastern block, it takes time to develop into a modern society. Some are developing quicker and some slower, politically as well as economically. Moving from the UK to Sweden, I see the differences as afar as immigrants are concerned. While of course, there is racism, there is also a generation aspect where young kids from dfferent backgrounds grow up together and play together. Sweden as well as the Eastern block countries have one to two generations before people from the outside are accepted easily. Anyway, it doesn't matter if you're Swedish, Bulgarian or British, we all have idiots, especially the British. In fact I make a point of avoiding Brits abroad when I'm on holiday. If you've ever watched the TV show Benidorm or Little Britain, people think they're comedy shows. They're not! They're documntaries based on real Brits. Trust me. In fact they don't show the worse of it. |

^ I don't mean this accident, I mean overall.
Western influence has been very bad to the country. I hope we leave the EU asap, which won't happen unfortunately as we're not England. If we were 60+ million like them then it will be possible, but for now we're "battleground" of drunk western tourists, nato soldiers and refugees. |
