Can a residence permit be backdated?

Is it essential to receive CSN support?

Hi,

I've been living and working in Sweden for almost 3 years now. I'm hoping to read a masters in the coming year and have a few expat friends who get money from CSN to study. I should be eligible seeing as I have been working here and paying alot of taxes for almost 3 years. However, I have no residence permit (applied and they buggered it up. As a British/EU citizen, I thought it wasn't too important for the sake of working here anyway.)

However, now that I entend to read a masters (potentially in the UK as well!) I am wondering a) if it possible to have a residence permit backdated or cool.gif whether it possible to receive CSN finanicial aid with just evidence of working and tax declaration for the past few years?

Cheers

Do you have documented evidence of the date of your original application? Did you chase it up with MV? Do you have the correspondence that proves this

Do you have a full personalnumber? (not a samordningsnumber)
