If you would only attend by getting the SI scholarship, you must decline reserves. Otherwise, if your university eventually grant you admission on the reserve, this 2nd choice would be deleted and that means loosing the scholarship. Unless you can fund yourself, no problem. |

I got admitted to my First choice at Uppsala. Others have been deleted. Secondly, I learnt SI sends out emails to successful recipients before publishing on 26th? Is it true? Anybody knows how it went last year?

It it mostly true from what I've heard as well. But not every single time, they are people as well, they can also fall behind for whatever reason. Until the official list is out - even if you didn't get a personal email - I wouldn't assume anything |

Hey guys,
I was wondering, if they do not contact your referees does it mean that your application is not considered? |

Hey guys,. I was wondering, if they do not contact your referees does it mean that your application is not considered? Absolutely not! I've never seen any applicant (winners included) report that their referees have been contacted. And I have done a lot of research |

Thank you so much for the input. Did you apply for an SI Scholarship too? If so, in wich category do you fall? I'm applying for Visby scholarship, we do not have categories but it's specifically for master students from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, Russian Federation, Ukraine! |
