My mum is coming to visit for 2 weeks and a bit to see her first grandchild. She's is a Canadian citizen with a Canadian passport. Problem is her passport expires Oct 23. She's visiting from July 20th until August 9th. A friend said she can't enter because her passport expires before 3 months of her departure date???

It needs to be valid at least 3 months after the date you intend to leave the EU country you are visiting.

Update. Turns out they didn't care. She actually got through customs faster than me lol
