That is massively confusing, because I would then assume that you are, if successful too busy to spend time with the moaners on this forum to begin with, and do your own thing.

Now the forum closing is perhaps a good thing. It was mostly brits that had the loudest yell anyways (not complaining, an honest observation!), so it was more a 'British' t?te a t?te than anything else.

On the other hand it is a sad thing, although I do understand the closure; asking a legit question usually leads to a litany of crap you either did not ask for, or within the first 10 comments of the topic it becomes a slugfest with personal insults, and people ain't that mature enough to control themselves. Not here. Too many people that get stepped on and butthurt because of comments/ answers that they did not like, or escalated beyond the original topic.....

Don't think individual people closed the forum though. Despite the "The Local is not responsible for content posted by users." statement, the local will always be responsible no matter what because it is hosted on their platform. Plus the way things were going on the forum were not that 'Swedish' to begin with I guess. To attribute the closure to just a few is you just missing the point. For a matter of fact, the TS sounds just as winey as the people who he claims are responsible for the closure.

Hope it comes back at some point, but with better moderation, the opportunity to actually delete your profile (which is impossible, trust me I tried!), but it is just better to let this forum die.

First of all, we all have different views of success. I don't have tens of thousands and I don't want to either. I'm happy with the community size that I have across my platforms and those I help. The bigger you are the more problems that come with it.

Regarding patreon, as I've mentioned before, you only need a few hundred paying a (relatively) small sum each month to make a decent income. To find a niche you just need to look for what people want that they can't get. Give them it for free and offer a 'premium' service.

People screw up by thinking of big figures. Better to have 100 people paying 10 kronor than 10 people paying 100 kronor. But I digress.

What am I doing here? I (genuinely) came here to help with questions but then stayed to argue with the haters.

THE LOCAL completely ignores and does not report about facts, such as a positive PCR test result without any symptoms is not a proof of infection. (Even the WHO says so and conspiracy theorists know since March 2020, LOL) No wonder that THE LOCAL cannot admit this, because then all infection numbers ever announced would be worthless and would turn out to be scientific fraud.
