Registering newborn in Sweden.Living in the UK. Dual nationality help |

Hi all
I am Scottish my husband is Swedish. We currently live in Scotland. We are due our first child in August and want to know how we go about registering her in Sweden so that she has dual nationality and a personal number. In light of Brexit we don't want to leave anything to chance. We are flying to visit my husband's family when baby is about 12 weeks old for a week. so will be getting her a UK passport as we need it quite quickly after her birth and have no clue how long a Swedish baby first passport would take so no point stressing. Is there a place we would have to take her when we visit or ????? Any help and advice at all on this would be great. Thanks Gillian |
