Hi, everyone. I wonder whether any of you had luck with getting a job in an international or smaller company operating in environmental sector? Did you find it easy to get the first job in this sector via applications online or was it a lucky chance you got via a contact? My background is physical geography (hydrology; graduate from a non-Swedish university in another EU country) and environmental science (studied in Sweden). I have a lot of experience in customer service and now aim for using knowledge in practice instead. Would you be very nice and explain how to get the first foot through the door in this market?

Getting first foot through the door? 1. Know someone on the inside. 2. Hail from southeast asia, hold degree from really shody University. Get "hand picked for your World class skills". |

It is very difficult to get a job like that in an international company. I think you should look for possible useful contacts who will give you excellent references.
