Howdy y'all

I been reading a lot on this forum since about 2 months. I have been awarded a fellow ship of around SEK 18000 for my research. I am married and intend to get my wife along with me for this period as well. however the documentation is not clear.
I have questions regarding the application for co-applicant.

I have been awarded 18K SEK/month so, can I affidavit that I will support my wife with these funds for entire stay ? and no other statements like bank or something ( frankly I dont have that money in my pockets RIGHT NOW)

and with this will I and/or she get a visa ?

if not do I need to show extra money ( may be co-sponsor or something ? )

Mr. Puffin or any one else please help.

How long is your stay?

I think that this will be OK as the minimum that migrationsverket ask for from students with spouses is just under 11K per month

thank you very much for speedy reply.
I will be there for 4 years.I am assured that sum of money for entire period.

so what is okay ?
1] My affidavit ( my affdavit is showing money from the funds I receive. )?
or
2] my co-sponsors affidavit ?

Since your wife is your co-applicant and thus dependent on you, it is your affidavit of support i.e. job offer letter which states your salary, that counts.

Send your affidavit of support, along with your wife's application and this should be fine.

If you are a student migationsverket wants to see 73000kr per year for you and 42000 for your spouse. I do not know if your research falls under this category but your income should be about that amount. You should be OK.

yes my research falls under that category. i guess this will suffice, my main concern was I was not able to show such amount in liquidity in my bank account as of now so far following is needed

1] form for residence permit by me original + 3 copies
2] 4 photos of me
3] employment letter ( which shows funding) +3 copies
4] my passport pages +4 copies of 1,2 and last page)
5] marriage certificate
6] co- applicants form +3 copies all originally signed
7] co applicant passport pages 1,2 & last +3 copies
8] 4 photos of co-applicant
9] affidavit BY ME stating I will support my co applicant throughout the period, + 3 copies
10] domicile for me and co-applicant ORIGINAL +3 copies
11] Original passports.

My funding comes to 216000 Per Year Totally. with tax
anything I am missing here ?
