Hi everyone,
I wanted to create this little place to get to know more people and also see how the application process is going for others. I've applied to 4 schools - Karolinska, Gothenburg, Lund and Stockholm University. Programs that I've applied to in order at each respective school - Masters in Public Health, Psychological Science, Masters in Psychology and Masters in Political Science. I've unfortunately received unqualified status on all 4 applications. The reason I got was I don't meet the general requirements of 180 ECTS. I completed a 4 year Bachelor degree in the US. So I should easily meet that requirement as 3 1/2 years of a Bachelor degree already meets the requirement. I emailed University Admissions to get a clarification and I received a pretty generic answer saying that my status could still change and they can't do or say anything until the notification of selections come out in April... I just emailed Gothenburg's admission office to see if they can help me out or give me clarification as to why I don't meet the general requirements. Is anyone else facing a similar issue with one or more schools listed as unqualified? I would love to hear what you did or what you are currently doing. |
