Yeah, skiing in the Alps or the Pyrenees (actual mountains with actual slopes) is completely unheard of. |

What does that have to do with you sharing a dialling code? You are just proving my point. Proving your point... yea... right... lol Your conviction is cute. They are both number one because they were the first system of its kind invented... traversing the border. There were no other systems so no need for country codes other than 1. Canada and the US shared the same system. Do you understand yet or so I need to hold your hand, draw a few diagrams, and let you take the test an unlimited number of times???? |

Yeah, skiing in the Alps or the Pyrenees (actual mountains with actual slopes) is completely unheard of. The point was if the temp is never below 10 degrees at whatever tropical sun blessed location it was, there wouldn't be any snow. Of course there are ski places elsewhere, 100s if thrm. Although because of variable snow seasons in the alps ?re is the standard reserve venue on the world cup circuit was they have snow and can put together an event at short notice. |

I was just teasing you. Jokes aside, I've lived in a couple southern EU countries (where there are actual seasons) and yes, you can also ski during the winter if that's your cup of tea. I'm not so sure having a two-month summer (aka green winter by some) compensates for not being able to do anything else but skiing for the rest of the year. |

I know what you mean about Swedish summers... we were swimming a few days last week and the water was a frigid 25c, but we toughed it out. The kids are still swimming this week, but I'll stay about the surface kayaking until air temps improve in the next week or so. |

Really? Why did Mexico have +1 as well (until 1991) as well as a host of other countries in middle America, dippy? Come draw me a picture with the crayons you have. |
