Rates are going up in England, they say it is a new strain. Germany has cancelled Christmas and Sweden is under severe pressure. Is it apathy? Is it a new strain? Who knows what the truth is. In the vaccine I trust. :-) |

Of course it's a new strain, it's London! Manchester, Liverpool and others have been in tier 3 already... no ones cared, but now it's London it's the end of the world. It is just like when it snows, 1cm of it in London and listening to the news you'd think they were in the artic, the same if its a bit windy.. soft southerners! ![]() |

Testicles! :-) Said today they first saw the new strain in September. Why has it taken them so long to announce that? Not that it would have done anyone any good. Things mutate all the time, look at Grommet. Hopefully the vaccine will still be effective. |

Think it's technically just variations of the strain, but the core virus hasn't changed. But it's something for politicians to blame rather than admit a 5 day free for all was a bad idea. Gjeebes -> Grommet.. and knows what other mutations previously, plus no doubt more to come. |

SkoBo --> SkoBo1 another incarnation as equally unfit for consumption as the first. And by the way, did you ever consider that Gjeebes, in all his brilliance, was finally deemed to be too much for this place, and so, the name was forcibly retired? His accuracy and honesty, about the MeatBalls, and their misgivings, was simply too much for the deniers. |
