(edit title) Drink driving advice. Advice needed please! Options

Firstly I would like to start off by saying I only have myself to blame, a meeting with some friends on Saturday quickly turned into 5 or six beers, I had planned to share a taxi back with them but they decided to head into Stockholm and I had to be up early as we have a horses and liveries and it was my turn to feed and turn out.

Anyway I had to return to my car to fetch my laptop bag which had my computer and house keys, phone charger etc. I stupidly got in the car, at around 10.30/11.00 planning to sleep it off until the morning, I woke up at 3am feeling cold but felt ok to drive to the riding school which was ten minutes away and sleep for a couple more hours big mistake, was quickly pulled over.

Police were fair and I was fair in return and admitted I had drank the previous evening immediately. Back at the station my breath test read 0.4 so under the gross limit.

Like I said I know I'm at fault so please go easy on the finger wagging, my problem is I work for myself, my own building and installation company so I need my van full of tools and equipment and also the riding centre and horses that is 35 minutes drive, sometimes need to be there in emergencies or take them to the vets.

My question is, has anybody on here experienced this before here? What should I expect in terms of minimum time for losing a license and how difficult is it to obtain an alcolock license? If I can't drive I can't work and I've put so much time and energy into starting a company here, I've already been given a 48000sek fine. I am so angry with myself but I would like to hear any advice or experiences please.

Personally, I feel that, since you were under the limit, you need to stop brow beating yourself for drunk driving as you were not drunk. However my views don't coincide with Swedish driving laws.

I have no actual experience in this issue but I would recommend that you seek legal representation. It will cost you but may well be worth it in the long run.
