(edit title) Can i apply for UK visa at Copenhagen UK Short term Work Visa Options

Hi,

I want to travel to UK for a short business trip (2 days). My company will sponsor it. I hold an Indian passport. So i will need a UK visa.

I can see that TLS does the VISA application process and TLS has offices in Stockholm and Copenhagen.

I stay at Malmo. Can i apply for the UK visa at Copenhagen office of TLS?
I wanted to avoid going all the way to Stockholm for this.

Sorry to bother you guys, but there is no contact number of TLS so i thought of addressing this issue in this forum.

I applied for this last year and used the Stockholm office.

My colleague who was in Malmo used the Stockholm office as well. We did not know about Copenhagen.

Honestly I see no reason why you cannot use Copenhagen. Just remember that they will take your residence permit card and your passport. So make sure that you have your ID card when you come back to Malmo to show in the train or taxi.

Thanks for your answer. Do they keep residence permit card also along with the passport. I thought it would only be the passport which they would require.

One more small question is -
Do they issue any written note or something that they are in possession of our passport which we can show in taxi or train while returning along with our Swedish ID card.

Actually they are not a government organization or anything. They are a private company handling this sort of things and did not seem very professional.

You can take colored photo copies of your residence ID card and give it to them so they do not take your ID card. I think some of the others did that in that office.

You will get a receipt that you have submitted the passport.

Why not contact the Embassy and get the correct answers straight away. Then you can contact the police and ask about other problems that can arise. So simple

I know it has been a while since this question was posted, but I was wondering if anyone actually did their biometrics in Copenhagen while being based in South of Sweden?
