I am crossing into Belarus by car this summer, thus I need a tourist visa. It cannot be issued at the land border: it must be obtained in advance through a consulate of Belarus.
Since I heard that the Belarus embassy in Stockholm has been re-opened in 2017, I was planning to apply for the visa in Stockholm, well before leaving for the summer trip.
However, the official website of the embassy (http://www.sweden.belembassy.org/) is not working.
Before going there with a potential loss of time, I'd like to know whether anyone had any recent experience with this kind of issue, I mean if the consulate is actually issuing tourist visas, what is the efficiency level, etc. Basically, how painful the paperwork is.
Thanks!
