Looking for any advice on this strange situation. My partner and myself have had a Swedish visa (resident) for over two years.

I'd like leave my current job and start taking on clients under a new business. I am an US citizen.

Is this even possible or will Sweden kick me out? Who could I talk to for help?

This is an unusual situation so you probably won't get useful answers here.

But if you were someone planning to move to Sweden and create a business, MV would want to see that you had prior experience, sufficient startup and living funds, and a business plan.

Perhaps better that you start up while still employed and generate some revenue to the point where you can show this to MV when the business can support you.

What did SV and MV say?

You can have self employed tax status as well as being employed by others.
