Hej!
my wife and I are going to apply for a sambo visa soon, however I am unsure about the housing requirement. On the MV website it says QUOTE You have to be able to use the home from when your family members come to Sweden. You must be able to show that you have a home for at least one year to come. (Relevant MV website)Since it's unclear when a visa will be approved and thus when family member can come to Sweden, how should this be interpreted? I'm about to sign a contract for a sufficiently big subrental at an HSB property, however they apparently allow only 6 months subrentals at a time (which can be extended). Is that alright for the application, or do I have to look for something longer-term right now? |

I'd be interested in this, too. Considering the fact that in Stockholm getting a rental contract longer than a year is an impossible mission, this makes life hard for people who don't own an apartment. I just signed a one year rental contract, but if they only pick up our case 6 months later, we are screwed I guess. Does anyone have experience with this situation?
