The Local _ Miscellaneous _ Covid-19 entry ban

Hi everyone,

My girlfriend is a British citizen currently living in the UK and due to start a job in Gothenburg at the end of this month. Does anyone know how the entry ban into Sweden works in this case?

I live and work in Sweden and she will be residing with me.

In police website, it states that "citizens from another EU/EEA states or the UK are exempt from the entry ban, only if they are returning home". But I found this quite confusing.

Appreciate your comments and if you know a telephone number I can call and ask. I already called Border control but they had no clue.

I'm guessing English is a second language? It's pretty clear, "only if returning home". This reasonably implies the person returning would necessarily already live/reside in Sweden.

Your girl does not already live in Sweden, right?

In any case, she can obviously call her own, or, the Swedish, embassy, for clarification.

Don't bank on anything, and definitely do not rely on the savages on this forum to know, anything! Lol!
