Hello Folks,

I have got an urgent inquiry. I want to know what happens when the period you applied for gets over and yet the decision is still pending.
In my case, I applied for a residence permit extension (since i am a student) last year ( for the period; mid of july 2019 - 1st of june 2020) and i have not received any decision yet, which means my decision is still pending. I didn't have travel plans for the year so I was not in rush.

Please shed some light on the matter. What would be beneficial for me; to re-make an application within 5-6 days (before 1 june 2020) or should i wait for the decision. Plus, If i wait for the decision, what circumstances will I face as I don't see myself getting the extension permit because the time you applied for will already be passed?. Will migration will later give me sometime to apply or what?

Any constructive and sincere thought/suggestion/comment will be appreciated.
