Hi,

Looking for an advice on what would be the best areas to buy the house within commutable distance to Gothenburg. Safe area, Good Schools, Infrastructure. As we are selling our existing house and have a good income, we are not as limited by the cost (within reason).

What would you recommend?

Thanks

Not to be an a hole but I would recommend visiting places you find within reasonable distance for a commute and then look at hemnet.se or other housing websites for what's available in area.

If you are looking in the city, then same. Or opposite. Look at places online and then scout the area over a couple day visit.

Besides... If you work in Gothenburg or have previously lived in the area... Aren't you familiar with the area?

Hi, we are only due to relocate to Gothenburg and so far have very little knowledge of the area and neighborhoods so not quite sure where to start. I have looked at Naset, Kungsbacka, and Torslanda so far but not sure whether we should other areas, not keen on being in the city but need to be within commuting distance to Torslanda and Molndal.

Thanks

I don't know so much about it but molndal seems like a decent place. I don't know specific neighborhoods within, sorry. Not totally empty like some places further out can feel, but also not like a bustling city... Although I wouldnt characterize any swedish city as "bustling".

As for schools, don't know what age range, id say the schools are lagom. Not so good but not bad.
All of Sweden is relatively safe. In my opinion.

I don't know it but heard bad things about kungalv. Nya Hovas I think it's called is being built up. Maybe expensive in that area though.

Molndal might be good. It certainly is a short commute to molndal from there
