(edit title) Auto Park Time device round up to 30min legal? Options

Hej,

Are you using this electronic automatic parking time device? I have just purchased one and I see that every time I park, the time is rounded up to the nearest half hour.
Why can't I set to show the exact hour I stopped? Am I going to get ticket if the parking agents come and check before the time displayed on the device?

You need a higher academic degree to understand how some parking machines work these days. One I used earlier in the week offered the choice of three different apps to pay or putting your card in the machine. Once your card was in, you had to register your car number and choose a time at which automatic log out would occur. However, if you came back earlier you had to swipe your card again and then you only paid for the time used.

I long for the days when you just put money in and put your ticket on the screen.

The device just follow the Swedish rules. I know one that got a fine but it was canceled when he complained.
