Problem with going through unemployment office is that the employer can always make requirements up to guarantee that no native can fit it. Like "5+ years of React 17, 3+

In Sweden, every employer has to publicly advertise the jobs in Sweden and EU for weeks before they can apply for Union approval for a non-EU candidate. And then they are further scrutinized. And many applications get rejected too. You really want people here to believe that you cant get a job because employers in Sweden advertise for fluency in Urdu or Bangla ![]() |

Not much (apart from being innate lazy, not motivated, slow in both direct acting on the tasks and in comprehending). The problem is also that there are too few of them... ...since the surrounding they live in is filled with corruption on all levels, sauna-employments and "beneath the table" deals and does not promote either education or critical and polemical thinking and inclination, nor knowledge or freedom of thought and speech. Then again, any community which is built on silent consensus on one hand (in reality) and at the same time publicly running the story of being proud of "equality and equal opportunity for all" - on the other hand - is hardly ever well suited for the promotion of knowledgable and forward-oriented working force. That atmosphere does not exist, in particular not for those educated and capable, but systematically excluded from it, on basis of their ethnicity, but most of all on basis on their name and surname. Look at the widespread, well established and structural and subtle and less subtle discrimination on the labour market. People are silently discriminated daily and no one is even addressing it any longer. |
