Dear Friends,
My contract is going to be finished at the end of November. Hopefully, I will start my new job on 15th January. Therefore, 45 days of gap exist between my current job and my future (new) job. I pay for union, Kassa and full unemployment insurance.

Now the question is that whether it is possible to go abroad during that 45 days that I have no job? and in the same time get paid by the unemployment insurance?

Have you ever heard of search engine optimization... use google to look it up.

The local does surprisingly well with that so that when one does google information on Sweden, especially a slightly more specific question, the local will pop up frequently as if it has some authority.

So for all the fools saying google google google... they probably do... which leads them to here... unfortunately.

Maybe you could follow your own advise rolleyes.gif
You do not have to have been a member for 12 months in order to claim the Basic (Ground) amount of A-Kassa. It is the income related amount that requires 12 months+ prior membership.
