Can anyone explain why swedish taxpayers are expected to finance internships for spouses of work migrants? Any sane country would just say "your spouse not finding a job is not our problem, you got a permission to come here and work and beeing dependents, if you can support them, period.'

Then I guess your country is insane. Why not move to a more sane country where you can use your superior Swedish skills? If they are as good as you say... Also, the work migrants pay taxes. Just as much taxes as you, probably more since you say they keep taking the good jobs from you. In that respect, they have an equal if not a larger say in how their tax money is spent... and why not spend it in a way that can benefit their spouse? |

They are free to move to another country where their superior skills can land them both jobs. Besides we abolished votes beeing dependent on taxes a long long long time ?go. Are you capable of answering straightforward questions? The immigrants in question did use their superior skills to move from their home country into Sweden. Duh! The question is why don?t you do the same if you think Sweden is insane and that you think you have a skill level higher than those who get the jobs before you? Maybe you know deep down inside that your mediocre, incestual Swedish skills can?t get you anywhere outside of your country. Voting and taxes... ok... my point is that they contribute as much if not more than native Swedes. They pay taxes too. If some native is on tax payer funded welfare then the spouse of a work migrants can be too. |

Well Sweden did not do too well in PISA but at least they dare to partipate, unlike India, Pakistan and Bangladesh. I was referring to post #2... you bypassed those questions... here I will post again for you: Then I guess your country is insane. Can anyone explain why swedish taxpayers are expected to finance internships for spouses of work migrants? Well, you voted for the inept administrators that run your country, right? Don't like what they are doing? Then vote some other inept Swedish political party in, and see what new mess they can create. Or...move to some better place...there are many of them, even these days! |

No I did not vote for the Reinfeldt governement that decided to open the flood gates for work migration. Oh yes, "him". He is truly one exceptional dude. So many "opened their hearts" as he dictated they must do. So trusting the Swedes are...so...obedient. So...tolerant. It's worked out quite well I think, overall. Don't you? Just think of all those folk who have now nicely integrated into Swedish culture/society, and will become the next gen of Swedish exceptional-ites. |

My comment was not offered to "counter" anything. I was just reminiscing about a major player who brought Sweden to its state of exceptionalism we see it in today.
Surprising no one in the "news" getting a tattoo of his potato head on their bodies. He's a real Swedish hero! Bildt too. Another fine Swedish creation! |
