Sounds dodgy to me,
It takes more than just a residential address to get one as well |

I landed with my family in Aug'20 and we stayed at a Veckobost?der for a month before we found a second hand rental contract.
During this stay at Veckobost?der,we applied for our PNs and received them also. Considering this,I dont see a difference between a hotel stay & a stay at a Veckobost?der as no rental contract is signed...unless the law recognizes a hotel & a Veckobost?der differently. (Question to other members..Is it recognized differently ?) If I remember correctly, the PN form also has 'C/o' box in the form. So I think,if rest of the stuff in in order (job contracts etc) and the hotel will receive post on behalf,I dont see a problem. This is of course based on my experience. Best way to put it to rest...approach skatteverket. |

The tax office has a flexible approach in unusual circumstances. Read recently of a homeless person living in her car who had her address registered as the parking spot where she usually parks, at Slottsbacken in Gamla Stan, Stockholm... right next door to the palace. Not sure how she manages to get her mail. https://www.hemhyra.se/nyheter/anna-ar-skri...ngliga-slottet/
The address where you are registered as living is supposed to be your permanent address. Make sure you will be able to get all your mail coz anything official will be sent to that address. |
